      A great place to work if you have a passion for delivering projects

      Pros

      Some of the best project management training in the industry. A great place to start a career in project management. The internal training and support I received was excellent building a good foundation of knowledge. The management team are open and communicate freely about the state of the business and how I can contribute. They work on very interesting projects giving me visibility into difficult issues and problems leading to excellent career opportunities.

      Cons

      The company is spread accross many geographies with clients in multiple locations which requires me to travel frequently. Management try and place me close to my home office but that is not always possible and like all other consulting firms frequent travel can be difficult on my family. the downturn has seen bonuses reduced but they have been increased this year which is nice to see. Hopefully the improvement continues.

      Many Changes...Not for the Good...

      Pros

      The consulting teams are great to work with. If you're the right person...you get a lot of perks and flexibility. Many people work remotely. Open Management Accounting System (generally speaking) - you know what's going on with the company from a business standpoint. That is very refreshing.

      Cons

      Travel, Travel, Travel. Consultants travel all of the time. Since new HR Manager was hired there have been a lot of changes (some due to the economy - but not all). The compny is making changes under the premise of taking the company to a more professional level. But the changes have elminiated the small casual company/family atmosphere that made Pcubed special. There are very few opportunites for advancement. Management tells you otherwise - don't believe them.
