Pros

Ability to be staffed and put in front of senior clients regardless of experience or qualifications Willing to dramatically undersell competitors to get in the door without considering impacts to consultants on the ground or quality of delivery Leadership team with lots of experience--they're the ones that helped crash BearingPoint New Leadership from UK office not afraid to ignore, ice out, fire, or berate lazy Americans

Cons

Recruitment hires non-stop regardless of pipeline Poor management alienates qualified people Doesn't value people or clients Mostly a body shop with little investment in training Little respect from clients or prospective employers

Pros

There are many social gatherings, and my colleagues are great people.

Cons

It's terribly awful company with full of horrible things. The management is horrible, the compensation is horrible, and the work atmosphere is also HORRIBLE!! The leadership is ignorant about proper delegation, so employees get overworked most of the time. We are often exhausted yet receive only minimal pay.

Pros

- Met some great people at Capco who I have still kept in touch with

Cons

- If you’re not on a contract role and on the bench for over 4 months you are considered as being at risk. Unfortunately if you’re not billing, the company will see no use for you. - There is no transparency or direction for roles available presently or in the future. They have a portal where you can apply for roles but when you’re a UX designer these specialist role’s don’t get listed often. - You hear rhetorics about how we’re doing well and we having nothing to worry about. But when you see people departing regularly, you have to start questioning things. In the past month or 2 around 6 people supposedly left the team. - People higher up who are well connected and part of the leadership team are safe. - They use the pretence of doing work on the bench to test you out and let you go if you make minor faults. They will find any excuse.

We are disappointed to read your comments. We provide regular updates on the business strategy, including areas of focus and our client portfolio. This includes quarterly Town Halls with an opportunity for Q&A with our leadership team, as well as domain and capability events and other forums. We have a dedicated Resourcing team and portal for managing role assignments and provide support to those on the bench seeking new roles. As a consulting firm we expect some employees to spend some time on the bench in between projects, such is the nature of our business. While on the bench employees undertake a variety of business-related tasks while preparing for their next assignment. However, after a period of unprecedented levels of demand, the demand for consulting services has moderated somewhat due to the current economic climate and we have offered voluntary, short-term sabbaticals and voluntary redundancy to a limited number of employees in the UK. That being said, employee engagement remains high, and our business outlook remains healthy.
