Pros
- Challenging work with the opportunity to learn very quickly - Potentially great exit opportunities given the SA toolkit that you learn
Cons
- Staffing feels like a guessing game and a game of favoritism - Very long hours on engagement with awful managers who dont understand the importance of W/L balance or how to manage people (great at the technical management aspect, awful at the people management) - Not well integrated along lines of services and certain practices are prone to massive layoffs given broader macroeconomic factors - Junior staff (Managers, Senior associates, Associates) will most likely experience a high burn rate - Not efficient in getting to the client answers, will spend meaningless time editing ppt slides to nuanced managers' expectations with no true value add - Lack of gender and diversity diversity especially at the partner level
