Pros

World class company at small town location. Ethnic diversity.

Cons

They will work you to death and give you nothing to compensate you for it. When you become burned out and complain about the situation, they turn it on you because management accepts no blame. Job is way too demanding for amount of pay. They expect you to always be available via cell phone and work any amount of overtime necessary to meet impossible deadlines. They give excuses such as lack of profit for not giving raises, but then you see management get promotions a giant bonuses.

Hello, thank you for your feedback. Much like the broader aerospace industry at the present time, the Seats business is going through significant rebound from COVID and growth throughout the sector. We are constantly looking at ways to optimize work processes for efficiency. We are continuously focused on developing our current and new leaders. Our total compensation package is very market competitive, and we review internal equity closely. We are also committed to diversity and inclusion valuing the differences and uniqueness of each and every employee. Please feel free to contact your local HR department if you would like to discuss in further detail. We appreciate your hard work and all you do for Safran.

Pros

Subsidised food in the canteen

Cons

I was employed by Safran for 6 months, when the entire IT department was called into a meeting to be told we had to re-apply for our jobs, which also included additional responsibilities. You would assume this would come with additional pay, however the pay was 10K less than the salary I was on! Worse still I wasn’t offered the role due to being told my skill set didn’t match the requirements, despite having done my previous role for the last 6 months. The job was originally advertised to me as an IT technician role, but the new role was more of a project manager role, which I wasn’t originally employed to do. I was asked insensitive questions in the interview such as “of all the mistakes you’ve made, what’s the worst you’ve ever done?” This was purposely done to show me in a bad light, so I could safely be removed from the business with a suitable justification. I was consistently told “this wasn’t the answer we were looking for” in an attempt to undermine me, and list my flaws.
