Pros

I honestly do not have anything good to say.

Cons

I was lied to on multiple occasions about the state of the team that I was managing during the interview process. I was told that I would have one really good new hire on my first day, and walked into the office to 4 new hires, none of which I would have extended an offer to. The company decided to split the entire sales division in half and create an inside sales division. It was so poorly executed, disorganized, and chaotic. Every rep was reverted to salary and took a minimum of a 5k base cut, in addition to losing all expenses and stipends. Internally the company is a mess, and the product is full of issues. Managers also do not even have a car reimbursement or pay for mileage. The leadership training was absolute trash. I was in a program that had only 3 sales managers, and approximately 38-45 operational/service managers. Managing in sales is significantly different than managing in any other aspect of business. Other companies like ADP, focus on sales management training. If you are looking to develop, this is not the place for you.

Pros

Fair pay, excellent benefits. With a competent manager, I would have made a lot more money with their commission structure.

Cons

One of the absolute worst managers I have ever worked for. 18 years in the company and the manager either lied or had no clue what they were talking about. Gleefully bullied a former co worker into quitting. Company reinforced not only this toxic behavior, but also shady sales tactics, as sales representatives will lie and steal from one another.

Pros

Colleagues are kind and there is an atmosphere of teamwork

Cons

Employees are underpaid and overworked. Internal career advancement is difficult and promotions to the Director level and above tend to go to external employees vs. internal employees. Management does not encourage autonomy and there is a strong command and control culture from leadership.
