Pros

A variety of flexible work arrangements are available, along with a good selection of employee assistance programs. There are many opportunities available for training and development.

Cons

Increasingly frequent and large-scale restructures and layoffs, plus unclear communications from senior management, leave morale incredibly low. The frequent changes to organizational structure significantly impact productivity. Generally no sense of belonging.

Pros

The company has OK benefits and it is easy work. Free coffee etc...

Cons

They do not respect intelligent people or technical skills. When you interview, you'll notice it's all behavioral. A suave appearance and persona will get you far, but they don't care about any hard-skills. They actually think an MBA is a "technical degree" (feel free to verify by looking through the job postings) and unfortunately, I am not joking when I say that you have a better chance of a promotion with an SNHU degree than one from MIT or Caltech. The leadership is incompetent and promotes people who are not a threat, but are good at sales and easily manipulated. People are rewarded for handling big projects, so people create them, so that they can claim victory, but it just causes a big mess and after they move on, others are left to clean up the mess (with no recognition). The Data-science community is run by actuaries. They think they understand a lot, but don't, they learn high-level details of 100 year old technologies. They do hold a lot of power though and actitvely undermine people with statistical/mathmatical traning and experience, who could be a threat to them.

Pros

Not being petty. There are NO pros to this job.

Cons

In February 2024, they announced layoffs of 4 auditors and audit manager. These were people with years at the company. They’ll eliminate you in a heartbeat. Keep in mind they cannot keep people at this job. People constantly leave. Despite being hired as remote employee, they started making me come into office 2 days a week starting in September 2022. The management is a joke. The department is full of favoritism. One manager didn’t even have to compete for his role. They just gave it to him. You will see that’s how they do all promotions. They make it sound fancy. You’re just reviewing bills. No room for discretion. Expected to follow conflicting rules that make no sense. Expected to cut law firm billing for tasks they should be paid for. Do not trust senior leadership or management here. Very shady. Ask others how many women have left this department. I have worked for several different reputable places, and this is the most dysfunctional work place that I’ve been at.
