Pros

If you want to work for a company that behaves like a dinosaur, this is your place.

Cons

Many sounds or redundancies per year, watch out. Not a stable place to work. HR changes policies that affect your contract without telling anyone. HR doesn't deal with any issues you may have. You are treated with contempt. Diversity is an interesting concept. Diversity is welcomed, as long as you earn the minimum wage People don't get paid on time, "IT issues"

Hello. Thanks for taking the time to leave us a response. We’re sorry to hear you feel this way. We wanted to reply to some of the comments you’ve made. As our customers' expectations change, we had to make some tough decisions about how we operate to make sure we continue to put our customer first. This unfortunately meant we did made some redundancies earlier in the year. We worked closely with all impacted colleagues during this time to make sure they had the support they needed. We have a new Inclusion and Diversity strategy for 2020 and have recently signed the Race at Work Charter with commitments set out to deliver to continue to make our business an inclusive and diverse place to work. It is very important to us that all our colleagues are paid on time, if you have had any issues regarding your pay then we'd urge you to get in touch. Best, The Dixons Carphone Team

Pros

A start for an engineer or someone trying to get into the industry.

Cons

Workload means 12 hours every day, constant hassle if you try to work only your contract hours even if you rarely ask. Engineers are managed by people with no technical experience. No care for employees, routing is an absolute mess, jobs in London,. Milton Keynes, Luton etc in the same day but have to follow the order set out due to customer time slots. If you have other options do not work for Team knowhow

Hello, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a response. We’re sorry to hear you feel this way. We wanted to reply to some of the comments you’ve made. Our company encourages an open and honest working environment between line managers and colleagues. We encourage all our colleagues to start a conversation with their line manager / mentor or HR to solve any issues/concerns/problems, such as those you mention. We also provide all colleagues with access to our confidential colleague helpline for times when it’s not easy to have a particular conversation with your line manager. At a lot of our stores and sites, we have introduced schemes such as ‘babble boards’ and feedback boxes to help provide an easy way of give anonymous feedback straight to senior leaders.
