Pros

Benefits and co-workers, everything else sucked.

Cons

In my last team meeting my manager said “if you don’t like your job you don’t have to work here” that was in fact my last meeting. People don’t quit jobs they quit horrible managers. If you’re interviewing at Yardi I suggest you ask the hiring manager who was the last person to get promoted in their team and you will hear crickets for days. There’s absolutely no room for growth. Pay is low and they will overwork you. High turnover and they treat you like your disposable.

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your supportive colleagues and comprehensive benefits during your time with us. Though your other experiences are vastly different from what we hear from other employees, we take concerns like this seriously and value your feedback. At Yardi, our core values focus on integrity, inclusion, and respect in the workplace, and we work diligently to ensure employees genuinely feel a sense of being valued, connected, and supported. When it comes to growth, we know that providing opportunities for training, learning, and advancement are critical for employee happiness and success! We strongly encourage employees to meet regularly with their managers to discuss their goals and find ways to be best supported, and HR has an open-door policy to provide additional support. Due to the short amount of time you were employed with the company, it is possible that your subject matter knowledge wasn’t as far along as needed for a promotion, but we strongly believe in promoting from within. In addition, we continuously offer training for those in leadership roles so that our managers have the softer skills and subject matter knowledge needed to successfully communicate with and coach each employee. We strive to remain an employer of choice where each employee feels supported and valued, and focus on paying in a fair and competitive manner. Employees have annual reviews with their managers to discuss goals and performance as well as opportunities for advancement based on contribution, and we often see healthy salary increases as our employees grow in their roles with Yardi and increase their subject matter knowledge. We take pride in our culture and transparency and genuinely encourage anyone who feels negatively impacted by something to schedule time with the VP of Human Resources to further discuss.

Pros

Nothing as of now, literally nothing.

Cons

Depressing work environment, always work work work. Work for 12 hours in the name of flexible timings. No compensation for overtime. Was asked to work on Saturday multiple times, Even when I was on leave they called me to work. Even after so much of hardwork from my side, no appreciation. Never able to log off on time, you have to work overtime everyday, atleast for 1-2 hrs. When it's time to log off, manager or team lead assigns you a new task and says it's urgent, even if its not. I don't see other teams staying this late, don't know what's wrong with our TL. It's so depressing and frustrating when you work hard from morning to finish your work before 6pm and when you finish they assign you a new task, which could have been done the next day. Poor management I must say.

Your experience is vastly different from what we hear from other employees in Pune. Our core values focus on integrity, inclusion, and respect in the workplace, and we work diligently to ensure employees feel a sense of being valued, connected, and supported. Employee happiness and work- life balance are important to us and it would be extremely unusual for anyone in the company to be asked to work such long days. We encourage you to reach out to the Vice President of your department or Human Resources to discuss your workload and suggestions for helping to prioritize your deliverables.
