Pros

Great benefits and decent salary. There are lots of good people at the "lower levels", including account managers and lower management (i.e. team leaders and Practice-team managers).

Cons

Return to Office has been reincorporated (currently once a week, might be increased). Upper management is clueless and constantly make changes that make this job worse for TAMs (Return to Office, forced cameras, unnecessary security measures, stricter micro-management focused metrics, etc. all in the last year). Company culture is quickly being replaced by what you'd typically find in a soulless corporate tech company.

Thank you for your four years with Yardi Atlanta. Though some of your experiences are quite different than what we hear from our employees globally, we are glad to hear that you enjoy our stellar benefits and competitive compensation as well as your inclusive and supportive team members. We encourage employees to follow our Teams and Zoom camera guidelines which are understanding of camera fatigue and offer suggestions and tips for remote calls and meetings. Though we can understand the inconvenience that may come with tools such as two-factor authentication, Yardi utilizes security measures to maintain privacy and security surrounding client and company data which is of the upmost importance. We greatly value employee happiness, and while others in our industry are implementing strict return to work policies multiple days per week, our hybrid work model takes a kinder approach, as we ask employees to join us on-site 1 day per a week. While we value your opinion, we genuinely believe that this flexible approach enables us to experience organic connections across different departments, meet and interact with new employees (promoting mentorship, teamwork, and community) and engage in fun events and in-person trainings. We encourage you to reach out to your Atlanta Human Resources team to further discuss any concerns or suggestions you may have. If this does not fit your needs, we truly wish you all the best in future opportunities.

Our Yardi values are based on trust, respect, and integrity. We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate against hiring anyone based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, physical or mental disability, or age. Everyone hired at any of our locations goes through the same screening process and is hired based on merit. Promotions are strictly merit based as well. We take pride in our culture and transparency and genuinely encourage anyone who feels they are not being treated properly to reach out to our VP of HR or Executive Vice President.

Pros

NOTHING - HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE OF A JOB

Cons

Treated employees horribly, They only care about upper management numbers. Sales goals for reps are not attainable. Also, I quit and found a BETTER opportunity they REFUSED to pay out my commissions from the previous month. What kind of company does this??????? I have NEVER in my 10 years of sales experience had a company treat sales employees this way. First THEY UNDERPAID ME then they refuse to pay out my final commission check????? DO NOT WORK HERE!!! They hired me on telling I would make a certain amount I have always hit my sales goals in my 10 years of sales so obviously I thought I would hit my number. But once I was hired on I found out only 8% of all reps have hit their number (Yardi has over 3000 employees) DONT WORK HERE- unless you want to make a little over minimum wage, be micromanaged, clock in and out - like an hourly employee even though you are salaried. This company is a nightmare stuck in the 80's treating women like Crap. EVERYONE I WORKED WITH WAWS UNHAPPY. I dont know where these stars are coming from on glassdoor. They are obviously FAKE. Not one single person I worked with was happy here. NOT ONE. Its a nightmare- literally

As part of our annual planning we carefully review the sales goals for all of our teams; and achievable goals are set based on an analysis of market conditions. Yardi maintains a competitive compensation plan and is able to attract and retain some of the best salespeople in our industry. As with all sales organizations, it is up to the individual sales rep to hit his or her goals. For some employees, sales is just not the right fit and when an employee is struggling, we encourage them to speak with their manager so a plan can be put into place to help them succeed. We wish you the best in your future.
