Pros

*Great culture: high collaboration, new ideas are always encouraged, everyone is curious and enthusiastic *Senior management seems genuinely concerned with employee engagement and having happy employees - lots of feedback opportunities and ways to engage *HR changes ongoing (better benefits, better maternity package) *Growth trajectory of the company is interesting - lots of opportunities *Very social team - lots of events *Great work/life balance

Cons

*The team is still too small to have a real choice in projects - staffing is mostly based on luck *We are yet to see the results of some of the strategic choices made in terms of focus areas

Pros

- Get to work from home - Work benefits are good - LOTS of socials

Cons

- Company overpromises to both existing and prospective clients in order to sell more pieces of work. - Many consultants in the company not actually skilled to deliver on projects the company sells. Google and chatgpt are most consultants best friends at Wavestone - Poor leadership and management from above, dump lots of responsibility on younger staff then criticise to high hell when you (naturally) make mistakes - Huge gossip culture often making individuals feel isolated/like an outsider - No real care for diversity & inclusion, 99% of senior leadership are white males - Senior colleagues spread thin across multiple projects leading to younger staff carrying bulk of the work with a huge lack of experience/expertise - Disorganised internal resources - Death by PowerPoint - Being successful at Wavestone = Jack of all trades, master of none.

Pros

Certain people are gems (some great American managers and above), good offsite events, gained good working experience in early career

Cons

Pay is well below market standards. majority of managers & up are incompetent in leading-especially, the French ones do not communicate instructions well, and give critical instead of constructive feedback. Most engagements are not intellectually engaging (mostly PMO) but have heavy workload. only a few employees actually enjoy the culture (very cliquey) and leadership shows blatant favoritism. If you are not one of the ‘chosen’ ones it can lead to an anxiety inducing work experience. Employees pressured to take on multiple internal initiatives at once to show dedication. There is a reason so many junior employees leave before a full year at Wavestone.

Hello and thank you for your review. We regularly benchmark against our peers to align our compensation packages with market standards, the results are shared transparently with our consultants. As part of a global company with a foundation in Paris, there is a French culture present within our organization’s ways of working. In addition, we have grown rapidly through acquisition of US companies, so our leadership team hails from a variety of backgrounds. As part of our Positive Way set of values, we strive to continuously evaluate our managerial practices through the lens of equity and a goal of transparency and collaboration in decision-making for all our colleagues. At Wavestone, the opportunity to be involved in developing people and the company outside of being on client engagements internal initiatives are an important part of our culture, which is widely regarded as one of the best parts of working with us. This is not a requirement for anyone nor is it a pre-requisite for success. We hope this is helpful feedback.
