Pros

Relatively Stress Free, friendly conditions, no pressure to work extra hours. Salary is decent for work performed and the overtime is there once a month on holidays. We do get paid for every extra minute on the clock, contrary to popular beliefs. Work and extra 30 minutes per week and you get paid for same. Every minute over 8 hours per shift or over 40 hours per week is paid as overtime. Easy to check your pay against the time clock if you know how. Stock purchase plan is very good. Company adds 15% to the first $2,800 you buy each year so that is like a bonus and if you are in the company long enough it will sure add up. Spouse has almost 30 years in and it does pay off.

Cons

limited potential for growth due to age and if they promote you, then they have to replace you and if you do a fine job, they want you to stay put.

Pros

You can do anything for this globally recognized and accomplished company. Great growth potential and limitless possibilities. Confidence that the company will be around for a long time. The company adapts, changes and grows with the times, technology, trends, and economy.

Cons

Lots of disrespect both from customers and associates. Lots of dramatic personnel issues. Constant degradation and demand for more, more, more. Poor overall morale at store level. Lack of consistency with policy adherence and accountability. Fear of losing your job.
