      Pros

      A great group of engineers at the bottom of the corporate food chain, doing their best in spite of lack of resources or advancement opportunities.

      Cons

      Not much was done regarding ageing products and technologies, company very hierarchical, and very silo'd. No real change in management style in spite of surveys and feedback using external agencies over several years.

      From Bill Hurley (CMO) - thanks for the Advice to Management. Over the past year, the entire senior management team has been changed, as we focus on becoming a software and services company rather than the former hardware company. As we make this transformation, alot of great ideas are coming from the employees - new software designs, user interfaces, etc. - as well as great ideas on how to grow our business in verticals around the world.       It has a friendly work environment with quite flexible work hours. Sometimes ability to work from home.

      Cons

      poor management, very difficult to get a salary raise and promotion even if you are a hard worker.
