4-8 week projects small teams boutique feel high exposure and autonomy - even in junior roles good pay

Cons

long hours (but you know what you sign up for so not really a con...) Formatting reports can be tedious (again, as entry-level you know what you sign up for)

It is interesting because you end up working with well qualified people who are smart and it is an environment where you can develop and learn very quickly.

Cons

There is an expectation that you will always choose work over your personal life, which can be pretty annoying at time. Little respect for work life balance

Lack of community, too much chaos with the PwC acquisition, new policies significantly worse than peer strategy consulting firms, not much local West Coast work- so lots of travel, takes forever to get things done internally
