Some good people, some interesting work, well paid, lots of grads to join with, learn some things, sometimes you get to leave early in the first year or so

Cons

Very long hours, overworked, short projects in Deals Strategy, lots of Due Diligence, lacks culture of caring for one another, not sustainable, all the managers are leaving

Most of the things you'd expect from a competitive consulting firm

+ Very smart people + Plethora of intellectual capital + Generous compensation

Cons

+ Acquisition by PwC has added a lot of administrative headache + Appraisals and staffing can get very political (as with many other consulting firms) + Work/life balance is brutal

Lots of benefits in a first job but actual work not as expected

Salary, perks of traveling, exit opportunities, smart coworkers - basic consulting pros.

Cons

Everyone is aligned to a particular Industry/Competency - gets you "stuck" if you are in an area you don't want to be in. Ultimately staffing is about your utilization % over your career development (This makes sense financially but can also mean that you never get to do the work you want to do). Many key players (imptex-Booz partners) are leaving the firm. Lack of office culture means that your direct team are the only individuals from the firm you commonly interact with.
