Pros

They are a great moral company trying to do good things for the world, they treat their employees very well and it is a fun enviornment to work in. There is a lot of opportunity to move up in the company and they are very excitied to promote you. They have a great process of choosing employees and managers and Howard Schultz does a great job leading Starbucks, he cares about us a lot and really knows what he is doing. We are excited to have him back and glad that he is willing to make some of the hard choices that he has done in order to better the company in the long run.

Cons

Due to its popularity it has become a big company and sometimes it feels like it is easy to lost in the midst of all the partners. And just like any other company it seems that once you get into the managers positions there is a lot of competition and I have seen a little bit of backstabbing. But in my opinion it is still better than most of the other companies out there, and i think it happens just because it has to not because they want it to. Even though they are a big company they have still treated us greatly.

Pros

The best reason is the opportunity for advancement and the salary and the communication with people by serving coffee and other details. They have good medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as having a 401K benefits package that helps a lot of people.

Cons

Being overworked during the busy hours and receiving the same salary as those that do not work in the most stressful hours. Having to always greet customers for everything that they do.

Pros

Flexible Hours, good benefits, great first start. It can be a great start if you don't have a lot of experience. Education is not required but they need good people. If you are talented you can rise quickly.

Cons

Inconsistent Management, Senior Management decline. Make sure that you are a competent and confident individual before jumping into the Starbucks ship. If your not the right fit your going to fail quickly and painfully.
