Pros

They are a prestigious name in the banking industry. Probably the largest private multinational bank in India. Offices are very neat, clean and well maintained.

Cons

There are no fixed working hours. It is not a 9 to 5 job. It is more like a 9 to whatever time it takes to get the work done job.

Pros

SCB is the only bank that provides the best benefits and welfare to staff. Teamwork prevalent depending on departments SCB seems more international at regional or group function. Support provided from team members are mostly available. Touch points are easier to be reached. Code of conduct has become the focus. Good direction.

Cons

Setup of new departments often hired externals. Externals do not understand SCB culture well and result in a lot of misunderstanding and tension. Projects which were pre-planned and executed halfway could be call off with no available notice. Members work hard and feel depressed the meaning of those projects once established. Bullying and scolding are very common by managers in this bank, specially fcc functions. Members hesitated to escalate such inappropriate behaviours though the bank's portal. Kindly look into these issues. Technology is really back dated. Staff still using excel 2007 or 2009. Other banks are using excel 2013. Are we making things easier for staff to perform better at work?
