Pros

Competitive benefits Exposure to global markets and cultures

Cons

A global British bank with business head in Singapore: U.S. office has little influence and does not get the respect it deserves Lack of quality managers who engage staff and support development Heavily focused on regulatory compliance and tight on discretionary spending

Pros

Highest mobility between department and functions. Great people to work with. Risk and compliance functions work very closely with business.

Cons

Sometimes too bureaucratic or too slow. Alignment of decision with every stakeholder before any initiative is formally agreed can cause significant delay. Committee culture for sone decisions can significantly reduce accountability.
