Pros

Good location and some good staff (non management)

Cons

Senior management at Processia talk a lot, but never actually do anything. They also Micromanage every area of the business regardless of whether they actually know what they are doing or not. If you demonstrate any ambition for career development and advancement you will be shunned and told you lack experience, and if you ask for a plan with a timeline for career growth you are told you need to trust the senior management. All the while they do not trust their employees and show them no value. Senior management takes every criticism personally and are extremely emotional and unprofessional when it come to dealing with criticism from employees. They view employee departures as an act of betrayal, and will not refrain from being unprofessional and emotional upon employee resignations. They will be sure to tell you what a grave mistake you are making, how disappointed and angry they are that you are leaving, even after "all" they have done for you. Salaries and benefits at Processia are sub standard to say the least, offering 10 - 15K/ year less than anywhere else in the Montreal area. There justification being employees don't have to travel downtown. In the last 2-3 weeks there has been a mass exodus of employees. The key focus for Management is the bottom line. They refuse to spend money regardless of whether or not it is needed. They will screw employees over on there yearly bonuses if they do not meet their profit margins, then turn around and buy expensive cars and drive them to the office. This company is heading for disaster. Do your self a favour stay away.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Our goal is to continuously provide new opportunities and support the growth of our employees. We feel however that career development is a joined responsibility rather than a “one-fits-all” program with pre-defined plans. Although you didn’t feel this way, we value employee feedbacks and build on it to become every day a better company and retain our best people - because we do care. One of our core values is ambition and you must have mistaken it with arrogance. We are proud of our employees and with their expertise, in the opposite direction to the Hindenburg fall, we will continue our growth path to be the #1 specialized PLM Consulting and System Integrator by 2020.

Pros

Nice office and large cafeteria

Cons

Not a serious company, never paid my commissions, always finding an excuse to not giving you your raise. They would like to have everyone billable 100% of the time if not you're out. No mid management, the CEO is hijacking all of the work (micro management). They're showing a company that shines but internally it is the complete chaos.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We value your opinion and always try to build on suggestions of improvement. Though, we are really surprised by your comment on commissions payments, as we of course fulfill our commitments. In addition, we recently had our salary revision process completed, rewarding good performance and embodiment of our values in our various geos. While we are putting more structure wherever it is needed, we want as well to ensure that we stay agile and achieve our growth ambitions. We are sorry if you felt it was chaotic, but we need to constantly adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Pros

- The new offices are nice (though 10 min ride from nearest metro) - Can work from home - Staffing manager is very good and understanding of her staff - Social committee organizes many happy hours and events

Cons

There are currently major problems in the company that has caused a very high turnover rate in recent years. The consultants are nice, but in general the atmosphere in the office is not very pleasant. Employees do not trust managers. In my career I have never seen so many political games in such a small company. Consultants are not used to their full potential, and not according to their interests. The method used in the projects does not have a lot of added value because the developers essentially do code merging whereas the functional experts act as testers, the rest of the code is subcontracted. No real project methodology in place. There is little room for creativity. Little room for growth. Managers, with the exception of staffing manager, do not listen to employees. The company has been for more than a year without a director of operations and this greatly affects leadership. Without leadership, there is a lot of politics, consultant performance and commitment is reduced. Salary conditions, the insurance plan and the savings plan could be improved. Some of the comments on the site are either fake, or sponsored by management.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you felt that way while you were working at Processia. New managers roles have been created and internally filled since you left to ensure more proximity with the team members. An HR Generalist dedicated to North America has been hired as well as myself as the new HR Director for the group, and one of our main focuses is indeed to decrease turnover. We try as much as possible to assign our consultants to projects according to their interests, and to give them opportunities to grow – and yes, some of them are satisfied to work at Processia and freely share their positive feedbacks on Glassdoor. In addition, we have an internal initiative this year to provide more learning opportunities to our consultants – more to come in the few coming months! Processia evolves fast, we build on our values of ambition, teamwork, performance and proactivity, and continuously improve for the sake of our employees and of our customers. Now, this is the right time to step in!
