Pros

The only pro is that if you are a "paper title" manager like a "quality assurance manager" you are not required to come to work. You can log in remotely for work from home and take care of your kids all day on COMPANY TIME AND STILL RECEIVE A PAYCHECK aka TIME THEFT. The Quality Assurance managers work for 20 minutes sending emails from home but get paid a full days work becaus ethey are really taking care of kids going to the gym or cleaning their house.

Cons

Little room to grow. Health insurance is expensive if you get hurt. Mancom dismissive about harrassment complaints Mancom dismissive about best practices - unless it comes from a European If you are not pretty or skinny, dont bother trying to get a raise If a person whom has been there for years whom always scored a 3/2 or 3/3 on their performance reviews and then starts scoring a 2/1 when a new manager comes in, you might want to question the new manager. There are many people who give there blood, sweat and tears at Corporate but are overlooked because the mostly foreign Mancom wants to bring in their friends. Mancome stresses a work life balance but for many there is no such thing.

Hello, At Nespresso USA, it's important that we provide a secure and inclusive work environment for all of our employees. We have a diverse workforce where women currently make up more than half of our Director and Manager level positions. Our people are the key to our success and many of our employees have grown with us by taking on roles in different locations, departments and even different operating companies within Nestlé. We strive for career development for all. We value opinions, however, I would like to inform you of some statistical data which sheds light on some of your statements that are quite inaccurate: 1. We strive to develop and promote our talent from within. The internal transfer and promotion rate for salaried employees last year was 70%, which means a lot to us! 2. In the last 2 years (2017-2018), there have been a total of 12 International hires. Out of the 70% Internal Promotion rate, that makes up less than 5%. Therefore, you can now understand one does not have to be of European decent to be hired or promoted at Nespresso USA. 3. Our Senior Leadership Team includes 50% women and is highly successful. Lastly, with our new technology capabilities at the Corporate Office, we are also able to offer remote work options that promote a healthy work-life balance. These are the facts, if you wish to discuss further, please do not hesitate to reach out directly. Best regards, Guillaume Le Cunff President & CEO, Nespresso USA

Pros

The coffee is very tasty. The location is a block away from Grand Central Station, so it is a commuter's dream.

Cons

I am sad to say that there is a lack of leadership at Nespresso US. Senior management (Mancom) has little respect for the organization. At the very highest levels, there is an entitled, pompous approach to interacting with people across the organization. Processes are confusing, cross functional cooperation is non-existent, and there is no shortage of people who enjoy causing others to fail miserably. Working in an accusatory environment gets old. Stay away from this disaster. I was shocked that this is a Nestle company.

Hello – Thank you for your input. I hear your point of view, but obviously totally disagree with it and I will explain why. Over the past 18 months, I have travelled with my Mancom team to multiple locations across the U.S. visiting our Boutiques, Trade and business partners. I have shaken many hands at different levels of the organization with the same respect. Based on a recent internal survey conducted by an external provider, results show that employees were positive about our communication channels (above 80%). Additionally, when employees are asked about ‘coffee chats’ that you mention, over 75% approve and ask even for more… As a leader, these sessions allow me not only to be transparent, but also inspire and motivate employees. I appreciate the fact that our company culture did not meet your expectations. I wish you all the best to find a position in an environment that will fit better with your profile and needs. Should you like to provide more specific information regarding your experience, please contact me or our confidential employee help-line at 888-424-2409. Thank you for your comments, Guillaume Le Cunff President @ Nespresso USA
