Pros

Good pay for hours worked. Free coffee and machine. Relatively flexible. Boutique staff and boutique management are all very friendly. The boutique management do all they can to create a positive environment for the staff despite the ineptitude and inefficiency of head office management.

Cons

Upper management create an unhealthy and fairly toxic atmosphere with unrealistic expectations and KPI’s. They don’t factor in seasonal increases or decreases in demand when they set their KPI’s and then become increasingly hostile when the staff fails to meet them. Upper management from head office also treat the boutique’s management terribly which causes unnecessary stress.
