Dead end job that looks glamorous with no growth opportunity

- Free coffee machine - store credits ($40 per month)

Cons

- The ABV target for the quarterly bonus is high, and the manager always give you the pressure to upsell but the bonus is so low I would rather preserve my mental health and go with the flow. - Management indulge in bad behavior of rude customers, resulting in more entitlement and more abuse from the customers. - Manager does not allow you to call in sick and tell you to either find someone to fill in the shift or work through the shift while being sick. I had to work while I was COVID positive. - Managers and team lead cutting working hours to the point I have difficulties paying rent. - Zero growth opportunity and lack of stability: The management would rather hire externally than promoting people from within. If you're a part time coffee specialist hired by a hiring agency rather than directly hired by Nespresso, you would just stuck in the limbo of being a part timer that has unstable salary.
