      Pros

      Company is doing well even during pandemic uncertainty. Seems to have lots of people that like having fun. Pay is pretty good, wouldn't say outstanding but pretty good. Benefits got more expensive when they tried to increase offerings.

      Cons

      It's hard to break into certain areas of the company's initiatives if you are part of the group. It's like in school where there was the cool kids group and if you aren't in that group you won't get the same experience and opportunities. Breaking through this wall has proven to be impossible for several including myself. One of the co-founders is very unapproachable in my experience. Rates for contractors can be embarrassing to some.

      Pros

      Some of the best reasons to work at Modus? It's modites! Honestly this is the best company culture I have ever had the privilege to work in! People are welcoming, lines of communication are open and encouraged, diversity isn't about fulfilling a quota but something that naturally happens when people are hired for what they bring to the table, which enriches every conversation whether it's about a specific work task, a new tech stack, pets, life, you get the idea. Grateful and proud to be a Modite!

      Cons

      So this will definitely sound cheesy or will have you in disbelief, but I have nothing bad to say. I've never been so happy or felt so appreciated, from the little things of having people just randomly check-in to make sure you're happy to finding kindred spirits across the globe! Sorry I just really have no cons...

      Pros

      Strong values of equality and respect are held by the leadership. There is plenty of space for everyone to grow if you're willing to do so. Most of the teammates are extremely professional and helpful. There is an overall positive environment.

      Cons

      Not a con per se, but it is required to be comfortable with the pros and cons of working entirely remotely. Even though you won't need to commute every day, you'll need to make sure you have a consistent space and time to do your job.
