Pros

fairly high level of job security, a company with a proven track record, some good perks (free tyres)

Cons

over the last few years has become much more profit focused so production workers are being pushed very hard. The family ethos of the company held for so many years has disappeared leading to a strain between workers and management that was never there before. Very few opportunities for shop floor workers to advance within the company. Salaries at the lower end of the pay scale now used to be one of the sector leaders

Pros

Michelin offers a stable working enviroment with salaries in line with local markets. They offer a lot of internal trainings and have strong organizational culture,

Cons

Slow career development (for Eastern Europe production facilities at least. They do not offer external trainings (internationaly recognized acreditations). Since it is a french born company the overall feeling of the organization is a bit rigid and conservative.
