Pros

Great place to work, relatively flat structure enables you to have exposure and build relationships at the top. Highly supportive of a consultants professional development, including at least 1 external training course per year. Family 'feel', friendly Directors level consultants, regular social events, diverse consultant populous. Opportunity to make your own career successes.

Cons

Salaries slightly below market trends, though it is a boutique, and not a big 4. Less choice of clients to work for, though again, its a boutique.

Pros

Pcubed offers fantastic career progression by providing consultants with opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach. Pcubed ensures a support network is in place for guidance and coaching, and empowers consultants to be independent and entrepreneurial. In addition the Pcubed culture is amazing and the team is the best I have ever worked with.

Cons

The Salary lags behind the Big 4, however career progression is faster so long term this works out for the best. Some engagements can last for a number of years, but the Pcubed management to try to swap people around to ensure careers continue to grow.

great in the past when there was still consulting and inspiring leaders

Cons

since late 2015 the German unit experienced what has happened before in other countries after the departure of the local general manager: leaders in the UK and France believing that they can dump their command and control style onto what was once a very engaged entrepreneurial team; no more communication to the team, hardly any new business and the remaining business is mostly temporary labour with no chance to develop and progress - you might be stuck with one client for years who actually pays better when you switch to be employed by the client directly (which a lot of former colleagues have recently done).
