Great life/work balance, great people in general: friendly environment, and great minds. Flexibility in terms of changing groups, etc. (depending on funding...)

Cons

Slow paced at times, lack of motivation from a lot of folks here overall. Micro-management at times (specific to my case though). The work isn't very innovative or interesting on a long basis.

- Need a PhD to get in. - Highly selective. - May need a recommendation letter to get in. - Have to survive by bringing in money through proposals.
