Facilities are top notch. Lots of technical support

Cons

Too much science directed towards application and users.. Most discoveries made by professors who use lab resources and are supported by their home institutions. Think about this when considering a long term position here.

Cons

Competitive environment, few chances for promotion. Parking is difficult Some buildings are sub-par, but new ones are greatly improved
