Pros

Teammates and people of the individual contributors level can be talented and nice. Good benefits. For anyone considering joining, don’t expect much. Negotiate for a good pay (about $160k) and just enjoy the benefits. Don’t expect much in developing your career or to be supported in that way. You would only be disappointed.

Cons

- Horrible, petty, narrow-minded middle management - Showing off is more important than doing what is important for the company - Management only has substance in gaslighting. Can’t do work, only know how to use their mouths - Would find ridiculous reasons to PIP you - Cowardic approach in masking layoff as performance issues - HR acted like they care but colluded with toxic management to discredit people.

Pros

-Decent salary for support -Decent Benefits

Cons

-Customers are becoming increasingly aggressive and leadership does little to back you up or support you -Benefits have been scaling back. Do not let them lie to you about "not removing benefits." They have changed from Unlimited PTO to Flexible PTO, they stopped giving Stock RSUs to customer-facing teams (like support), they got rid of the free books program, and they got rid of the sabbatical bonus. Internal mobility in HubSpot is a joke. It happens, but there is high performers that are stuck. I know people who are still in the support team and leadership should be hanging their heads in shame that some of these people are still in support roles instead of actually experiencing growth in their careers.
