Pros

People are generally nice, helpful, and there is a few good managers around. Healthcare and benefits are top class.

Cons

Unfortunately, recent hires in senior leadership are obviously a bad culture fit. They do not align with global culture, and have been making decisions that are placing tenured reps under alot of micromanagement. This includes challenging our leave application even for performing reps, which is totally against our unlimited PTO policy. There is a thin line between direct and rude, and she crossed that line long ago. The environment is so toxic right now and rep don't feel supported. There is general consensus that we are nothing more than numbers.

Pros

Use to be good, good benefits & remote/hybrid

Cons

When I joined this company, it was amazing. I had a manager who is supportive, and I felt that my voice was heard when things were not working. Few years in and things have really started to change for the worse. I’ve had a bad manager for over a year with multiple HR claims being filled against her and numerous people have complained about this and nothing has been done. On top of that metrics are not aligned to what we can control internally and leadership is pushing employees to perform with unrealistic expectations. Not only is the general environment at Hubspot very stressful currently but bad management is making the situation worse. The other difficult part is that processes internally are messy and it is really difficult to get support for customers making it difficult for service reps to do their job. My experience has really left me considering what to do in my situation and has left me feeling very stuck as I can vouch for multiple people on my team.

Innovative product Company is run by smart highly educated professionals Employees are young and there are lots of company sponsored events

Cons

Very demanding job requiring a minimum of 70 hours per week Impossible to take a day off to keep up with demands of job despite "unlimited vacation policy" Monthly quota makes the job extremely stressful Unrealistic quotas given competition and current market conditions Pay is not competitive for seasoned sales reps
