Pros

International reputation. Innovation and new tech industry. Good looking office. Culturally mixed environment.

Cons

Extremely bad communication. Information sharing is almost inexistant and the level of english is awful. Racial discrimination. Only chinese managers can decide. No value to local employees. Very low quality trainings. Meetings in Chinese. Wages are average compared to the huge amount of work. Everyone is having a burnout. Short-term strategy. Every employee undertakes two-persons tasks at least. THEY PULL THE WOOL OVER ALL EMPLOYEES' EYES!

Pros

- Average salary package - Chinese food available in the cantine

Cons

-no phone provided (Im still with my iphone…) -no expense paid (if you go for a customer trip and need to pay parking: Huawei don’t reimburse anything -If you go to international trip and need to travel over the weekend and park your car at 4 AM in airport park: Huawei don’t reimburse either -if you have a 4 hours’ drive meeting with customer: they don’t pay the train, you need to take your car or pay train with your own money -Huawei thing that with your salary you have to pay for almost everything: you go abroad for a mandatory training? You need to pay the restaurant all the time with your own money and cant expense anything. -It’s a Chinese company: with good and cons, Good: Interesting different culture, Poor: Chinese documents, discussion, decision, management: you don’t speak Chinese? Then you are just nothing in the company. Lack of strategy: only tactical: provide low price product: only box moving company approach Lack of common language: most of them barely speak English, and if one of my sales goal is to achieve my quota, one of their goal is to meet CxO here: its always unproductive and a total mess as no one understand what is their message, which by the way is only low tactical one. Lack of management: our managers thing they have experience, but don’t know our market: every 2 years Huawei relocate the Chinese management, so they just don’t pay attention of local market but more focus on short term deals even if this kills the market or relationship with customers Lots of good Chinese resources, but management is demotivating everyone’s (including Chinese engineer’s). Lots of other issues that makes me thinking there is a huge gap to be fulfilled between our worlds, Huawei has certainly great product, engineer and R&D but the management is a cast completely hermetic to the business world and rules and have no idea of how business runs.
