Pros

Great starting salary compared to the average on the Portuguese market (which they exploit later on), some benefits, like life insurance and and private health insurance, good initial training, nice ambiance, the team I worked with was exceptionally great.

Cons

As soon as they see the potential in you, they will add more and more to your workload and responsibilities without increasing your salary. Extra hours are not paid but expected. Communication between departments is difficult. A promotion is rare and does not come with much of a raise. There is no transparency in the decision-making process, however some people are "more equal" than the others. The most disturbing is that the French way of management is just a propaganda to accept things as they are because "it could be much worse". After a while there is no room for personal development, the company just exploits you and churns the life out of you. They do not appreciate their human capital enough, they just want the cheaper multilingual workforce in Portugal because most employees are monolingual in France. The KPIs for the bonuses are unattainable, unrealistic and unfair.

Pros

Love the team I am working in: effective communication in team, working with unity. Learning to analyse various cases of claims, and client servicing. I appreciate the company's value in ensuring a work-life balance to their employees and taking care of the employee's well-being.

Cons

Overly systematic job tasks and little opportunity for career growth which may lead to career stagnancy.

Pros

Practice a language you may like, or use your mother tongue for employment in Lisbon. Usually great colleagues. The problem is the management and the company philosophy, not the staff. Good health insurance.

Cons

Unrealistic goals that are already known as such but remain expected. Staff is overworked, stressed. Thos who are not just do not care and clock in and out. The more you deliver in quality and quantity, the more is expected from you. Not enough recognition. Poor and unfair pay.

We thank your for your testimony. At Henner, the health and well-being of our employees are at the core of our concerns. We constantly strive to create healthy and balanced work environments where our teams feel supported and fulfilled. To ensure this, we have implemented several actions and policies, such as stress management training, which is proposed for all our employees in France and internationally. We have also reaffirmed the right to disconnect for all our teams. We recognize the crucial contribution of our staff to our collective achievements and value it through our management policy and the benefits package that we offer.
