Pros

Friendly people, great pay and benefits package, tons of training materials to view at your leisure. Work Life Balance is decent depending on your position. I happened to have a great manager that was supportive, however he could only do so much to help my career.

Cons

Where to begin.. -This company has about 50% hard workers and the other 50% are figuring out their job either as a new hire or moved to new position. -US employees are first to be laid off due to costs. Outsource as much as possible. -H1B candidates with Masters are preferred so as to get them cheap and hang the metaphoric carrot (green card) in front to get them to do whatever. -Indian Mafia type Management, only hire Indians under them. Most whites left are Swedish. -Ton of online training, its mostly generic and not deep dive, but no time to view. -Certification program is a joke. Example, Read chapters 1,3,4 in book A, 5,6,7 in book B, plus 20 online videos or knowledge share then take exam and test will have more on it than the materials. Plus not industry recognized. -No career development, you get stuck doing same job and cannot get out of rut. -No team spirit, everyone watching out for themselves and can be cut throat. No sharing of information or minimum to say the least. The less you share the more valuable you are to the org. -Everything is processed to death, -Add on Sales pushed to ALL employees as part of your yearly goals, which is difficult to achieve depending on your job. That's enough for this review, this is a Swedish business and ran that way. All about the $. US is working hard 24/7 while the Union countries work maybe 40hrs.

Management is Not Loyal

Pros

Benefits are top notch, if you can survive there long enough. Ericsson is always reorganizing and laying off good employees, leaving a heavy workload for the folks that can survive the layoff every 3 months.

Cons

Management has no loyalty. In my 11 years at Ericsson, I saw a lot of dedicated people who put in long hours get laid off without reason.

Pros

The company is a ''good resume for you", you can end up in a good university with Ericsson project management experience. International perspective. Many opportunities to improve processes and procedures, if you are looking for you have the chance to learn a lot, even though it is not so easy to learn from others.

Cons

The general level of intelligence is low, people are grumpy, combat / survival mode. Not a real team and real strive to improve, mainly trying to show off, short-term results oriented. Salaries are ridiculous
