      Good company but likes to layoff employees to much, US HQ

      Pros

      Good benefits, nice office building to work in, most of the mgmt team is respectful and wants to do what is best for the employee and the company.

      Cons

      Layoff's happen every year not due to the business but due to a annual 10% purging of the employee population.

      Scarce upward movement if not connected with upper management which is 80% Indian, it helps to be one and be connected

      Pros

      Ericsson is solvent, the company has strong cash reserves and is not going anywhere anytime soon.

      Cons

      Extremely arrogant company, regularly lays people off and doesn't allow them to return (USA) if you quit. Compensation is on the low end, which ties to being worthy to just work at Ericsson. Lousy office environment, management leads by fear! "Do what we say or you'll be let go" attitude.

      Pros

      Ericsson can be very flexible, family oriented, with good benefits and understanding that personal time is required sometimes. Lots of training and development available especially technical engineering. Good teleworking opportunities.

      Cons

      Lots of politics. Ericsson tends to give senior jobs to Swedish staff, or staff who have worked in Sweden. Jobs offer go to people with internal contacts rather than ability.
