Not worth the time or effort

Your colleagues will make your day worthwhile.

Cons

Dragged from working a large delivery to doing some task a manager can't be bothered to do regularly. Cutting working hours to basic, expecting full time workload. Dragging support staff off important tasks to supplement sales, but not doing the same when support require assistance Advertise temp christmas pay rate at a rate including bonus that you won't get til you've worked with company three months, temp period is less than this. Company doesn't want to listen when colleagues share concerns about changes, no consultation when fundamentally changing roles of some of team with no financial uplift for extra responsibilities. Managers will advise you must "manage objections" in relation to extended warranties even though company training states this is not allowed, similarly will state we cannot recommend finance, then aggressively target finance sales. Far too many more to mention.

At a lot of our stores and sites, we have also introduced schemes such as ‘babble boards’ and feedback boxes to help provide an easy way of giving anonymous feedback straight to senior leaders. The worst company you can work for

Pros

Nice office and good lunch

Cons

Good the first 2-3 months, a nightmare after. Toxic atmosphere around the office. Long hours and not even paid. You work for Christmas Day, new year and don’t even get a thank you.
