Pros
Salary isn’t too bad, 4 on 4 off shift pattern was useful but meant long work days and only 1hrs break split between 12 hrs was hard work. Location and Parking although busy was good. Staff discount was very handy to have with some added perks such as cheaper phone contracts
Cons
Always understaffed, ops managers didn’t care about staff well-being. Conflicts never resolved, a lot of stressed employees with little support but always expects more from them. A lot of bullying in this space and harassment and bullying complaints never taken seriously. When CEO visits jobs are threatened if you dare to say anything negative about your manager or job. If you give your manager a low score on a survey despite allegedly being anonymous they will punish you by refusing holidays or adding unachievable targets to make your team suffer. Very little room for career movement as your manager won’t approve it if they don’t want to and can cost you a job role.
