Not interested in looking after it's people only profits.

Pros

The people in stores are great to work with, alongside looking at the latest technology.

Cons

The company doesn't really care about staff or customers only profits. Little or no support available when you need it most. Heavily target driven environment that promotes underhanded tatics to gain attachments on sales mainly at the cost of the customer. Bonus and commission was once used to motivate teams now it's the opposite. Targets are designed to work in the companies favour getting what they want and not paying the staff for anything resulting in low morale. Targets are inconsistent across the stores making some even harder to achieve than they already are. The systems the company has been built on are not able to keep up with life in today's world. A whole host of holes and glitches that can literally make or break your day. A lot of loss to the company is related solely to these issues along with the embarrassment of the staff to use it in front of customers. This could go on and on but I don't have the time.

Pros

Newly refurbished office environment, clear vision of where it wants to get to, easy access via public transport

Cons

Poor road access, although a merger of equals Dixons culture seems to have completely usurped Carphone Warehouse culture, making it a less innovative and fun working environment

Pros

The only good points are some of the great sales advisors that work for the company, how it treats them, it really doesn't deserve such good colleagues

Cons

Absolutely shocking company to work for, has without doubt some of the worst managers you'll ever meet. Most managers that actually cared for their staff have left or are leaving, company wants to be John Lewis but only cares about kpi's so stores regularly give away stock (cheap attachments) or take money off products to sell monthly guarantees. HR support is non existent. If you want to lie, cheat and give away stock, whilst being intimidated and shouted at by bully boy managers this is the job for you, if not find a company that actually cares for its staff, there's loads out there.
