Pros

Responsibility, take as much as you want, pro active people won't be disappointed. There's lots to do as the business is growing fast so you can always find a core role but develop additional areas in parallel.

Cons

Changing culture and bonuses have been historically mixed. The last few years bonuses have been poor and time barred due to write downs outside the control of the people.

Thanks for your feedback and we're pleased to hear that you enjoyed your time at Capco! Capco's culture of meritocracy and empowerment enables employees to take on responsibility right from the start, regardless of level, in a supportive and dynamic work environment. Employees have the opportunity to work across different areas of the business on client projects as well as the ability to shape the firm by getting involved in areas which interest them whether that's recruitment, CSR, coaching or introducing a new process or tool at Capco. Whilst there have been some changes in leadership over the past year, the leadership team remains committed to fostering Capco's unique culture and recognise that this is one of the key reasons why people join our firm. Our global CEO recently shared his personal commitment to this at an employee event and all our locations remain focused on retaining the family feel and fun elements which make Capco such a unique place to work. In addition, we have recently launched a global performance management pilot supported by a mobile app, which provides employees with greater transparency around their ongoing performance and how they are assessed. The process has been developed based on employee feedback and employees are continually invited to share their feedback on the pilot to shape future enhancements. As a firm, we definitely intend to keep the fun and culture going!

Pros

Capco consulting offers competitive salaries and a group of younger consultants who are fun to work with. I like the smaller consulting atmosphere because it allows you to have more visibility with upper level management. The bonus pay for hours billed is fairly lucrative and fair compared to some other consulting firms.

Cons

While the company use to have several different project opportunities, now all of our opportunities have recently been limited to a few clients. This is because some of our partners have a difficult time selling new work at new clients. One of the largest projects on one of our clients staffs a lot of Capco employees, and the management on the project is very hostile. Group think, discrimination, and defensiveness rule the day and strife open communication and insight from the rest of the team members. Due to this, the project turnover rate is very high, but project managers' aloof attitude makes them appear like they do not care to lose people.

Thank you for your feedback. At Capco, our people are our priority and we are disappointed to hear about your experience. We are committed to ensuring that all our people can be themselves at work and encourage a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Similarly integrity is one of our core values and something we look to reflect in all our behaviors and interaction with both clients and people. Your feedback suggests that we may have fallen short of our high standards in these areas and we are disappointed to learn that and also disappointed that we have not had the chance to respond. If you haven’t already done so, then we would strongly encourage you to speak with your HR Business Partner and/or Counselor regarding your specific concerns so that these can be addressed. You may also wish to contact our global HR Director, Richard Gartside directly, who would be happy to discuss and address your concerns.
