      If you want to be in consulting and remain local to NY, there are many opportunities for that

      Cons

      Not much of a meritocracy. Employees are expected to participate in social events and be seen rather than focus solely on the work.

      Pros

      Fixed Salary, fruits for each employee every day

      Cons

      Directionless company Unfair employee selection for projects/onsite opportunities Lots of gyan all the time No new projects or good pipeline Looks hunky dory from the outside but there is nothing of that sort.

      Seriously gone downhill

      Pros

      Occasionally you meet decent colleagues but usually people look after their own interests. Seriously struggling to find anything positive to say about the place.

      Cons

      Working conditions, benefits, senior management. IT infrastructure, lack of alignment between locations / leadership, no work life balance if you're unlucky to be assigned to one of the many killer projects.
