We are sorry to read your comments. We have a robust performance management process which takes into account feedback from multiple stakeholders, and colleagues are assessed against core and community frameworks, (which include a 'people' dimension) to ensure a fair process. If you would like to discuss your feedback further please reach out to your HR Business Partner or a member of the Leadership team.

Pros

Work life balance Chance to explore new industry

Cons

the year end review process is ridiculous. Your performance is not rated by your PM but on a round table and compared with someone else who doesn't even know how hard your project is. If your coach/PM is not strong enough (or has a lot of connections), you can't get a good rate. Company pays too much attention to the so-called community work. I can understand community work can somehow help to build company culture but it would be overestimated if you give it too much weight in the overall performance. Old senior leaders are leaving without official notice. New leaders seem that they're unable to get new opportunities and keep existing opportunity.

Regarding the review process, ratings take into account feedback and input from a number of stakeholders, including an individual’s manager. In a roundtable, colleagues are represented by their coach, who has a holistic view of their protégé’s performance in their role and of their contribution to Capco, which may have seen them work on multiple client projects with different managers during the year. The roundtable process helps to ensure a fair assessment by allowing space for discussion around performance and proposed ratings for all colleagues at each level. A specific percentage of the overall performance assessment is directly linked to Community, which ensures that where an individual has made a contribution, this is recognized and rewarded. However, the majority of the performance assessment is always weighted towards performance in the individual’s core role.

Pros

My coworkers at the company were some of the most encouraging, inventive, and dedicated people I have ever had the pleasure of working with, despite some difficulties with the manager

Cons

Recalling my time working at this company left me feeling restless and uneasy. The outdated manager was a constant source of frutration and disappointment. His leadership style was rigid and inflexible, and he seemed completely out of touch with the needs and concerns of his employees. One of the biggest issues with the manager was his complete disregard for the injustices faced by many of the employees. He was penny-pinching and refused to invest in the necessary resources and tools to help us do our jobs effectively. This lack of support and investment left many of us feeling undervalued and underappreciated.

We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed working with your Capco colleagues. People often tell us that our employees are one of the reasons people choose to join or work with us. It is disappointing to read your other feedback. We encourage all our managers to empower their team members, to provide a supportive environment and to be open to feedback and suggestions from the team in line with our culture. Our managers are expected to hold regular team meetings to allow space for updates, knowledge sharing and questions. There is also a variety of online and classroom-based training and resources available to support those with people management and coaching responsibilities—as well as for our employees who want to develop their own skills across a variety of areas. We would actively encourage anyone in a similar situation to have a discussion with their HR Business Partner about their concerns.
