Pros

My coworkers at the company were some of the most encouraging, inventive, and dedicated people I have ever had the pleasure of working with, despite some difficulties with the manager

Cons

Recalling my time working at this company left me feeling restless and uneasy. The outdated manager was a constant source of frutration and disappointment. His leadership style was rigid and inflexible, and he seemed completely out of touch with the needs and concerns of his employees. One of the biggest issues with the manager was his complete disregard for the injustices faced by many of the employees. He was penny-pinching and refused to invest in the necessary resources and tools to help us do our jobs effectively. This lack of support and investment left many of us feeling undervalued and underappreciated.

We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed working with your Capco colleagues. People often tell us that our employees are one of the reasons people choose to join or work with us. It is disappointing to read your other feedback. We encourage all our managers to empower their team members, to provide a supportive environment and to be open to feedback and suggestions from the team in line with our culture. Our managers are expected to hold regular team meetings to allow space for updates, knowledge sharing and questions. There is also a variety of online and classroom-based training and resources available to support those with people management and coaching responsibilities—as well as for our employees who want to develop their own skills across a variety of areas. We would actively encourage anyone in a similar situation to have a discussion with their HR Business Partner about their concerns.

Pros

Varied client work — Different clients and project types, which keeps things interesting. Real project mobility — You can move between projects when you advocate for yourself (within reason). Approachable leadership — Senior leaders are open to conversations if you reach out. Good development resources — Plenty of training and growth opportunities if you take advantage of them. Strong teams — Colleagues are smart, capable, and great to work with. Entrepreneurial environment — New ideas are encouraged, and there’s room to take initiative.

Cons

Long hours vary by project — Like most any professional job, some engagements require extended hours for prolonged periods, but work–life balance really depends on the client and team. Additional internal responsibilities — Depending on level, there can be a significant amount of firm‑support work outside of client delivery. Domain alignment not guaranteed — You may not always be staffed on projects that match your domain expertise. Coaching alignment constraints — Coaching relationships are tied to domain, which limits flexibility in choosing formal mentors. Long engagements (sometimes) — Some projects run for long durations or through multiple extensions. It can provides stability but may reduce variety in client and project experience depending on what you’re looking for.
