We are disappointed to read your feedback. Like many consulting firms, Capco has faced some challenges in the current economic climate which has impacted the demand for consulting services. As a result, some colleagues have been offered voluntary, short-term sabbaticals and voluntary redundancy. Wherever possible, we have made alternative arrangements, including adapting our hiring activities to prioritize the resourcing of employees. Where this has not been possible, any redundancies have been managed sensitively and individuals offered the relevant support. Leaders have also been as transparent as possible with colleagues in the business, while being mindful of those impacted by these decisions. Please be assured that our leadership team is seasoned at leading businesses through such periods of change and is focused on successfully navigating the current environment.

- Decent senior leadership - Fun (ish) culture depending on location and account

- Low rate card drives a strong cost focus and small salary increases - Bureaucracy creeping in especially with performance management process which is time consuming for line managers and reports but often pre-determined by account leads - Account management often absent, reactive and / or contradictory

Regarding your comments on performance management, we have a robust process with two promotion cycles per year. As part of our efforts to continually enhance and evolve our internal processes we do take onboard employee feedback and implement this as needed. If an employee has questions or would like to share feedback on the process they are encouraged to reach out to their HR Business Partner to discuss.

Claim the organisation is a meritocracy but who you know is actually what gets you promoted Recent layoffs as the resourcing team aren't able to acquire the amount of projects needed to fulfil the hiring boom the organisation went through a couple of years ago Most projects are focused on resource augmentation rather than organisations needed specialists for support

We are pleased to read that you enjoyed working with your Capco colleagues. Regarding promotions, we run two promotion cycles per year and individuals who have been performing at the next level for a sustained period can be considered for promotion. There is a clear assessment process and criteria for promotions which is shared with all employees. Capco has a wide portfolio of prestigious clients and projects offering a variety of career opportunities. After a period of unprecedented levels of demand, the demand for consulting services has moderated somewhat due to the current economic climate. As a result, we have offered voluntary, short-term sabbaticals and voluntary redundancy to a limited number of employees in the UK. That being said, employee engagement remains high, and attrition has decreased.
