Organization decided to discontinue the role after 1 month
Pros
I have not seen any
Cons
I was asked to move out as they discontinued the newly created role, a minth after hiring. A call was scheduled that too the next day after I shared my strategy and was informed that they are not going ahead with me as well as the role. They told me no will be hired as replacement, its just that it will be handled bu existinge employees as additional role. I used to reported to the CMO who didnt obviously have much time to connect or guide during onboarding days. The peers were unsupportive. Most of them were much older and had more experienced than me, hence never connected or want to connect. I did receive feedback from a Project Management lady every now and then, on ridiculous things like "table alignment', excel sheet advise lol. I felt uncomfortable and unsafe already. My manager never really connected and one fine fine day she sets up a call to say that the role is no more. They payed off my salary for 2 months. What is have to say is, it's not normal to find fault with table and excel sheets when actual work needs to be addressed. On looking back what I went through aas planned and deliberate. They made a mistake in hiring for a new role and they decided to remove it a month after hiring. 2 years later even today there is no role under this title. The work environment centered around unsupportive and egoistic peers. Luckily I got a good job with similar role in an even bigger organization and is striving there since we yrs. But doing this to employees is not justified.
