Good international environment, bonus system and flexibility
Pros
Flexibility with shifts: very suitable for students or people who have a side job. My team leader was very sympathetic to me. I could manage to work part time and attend my master studies and final exams. Bonus system: If your productivity is high and you have good quality calls, then you can get a good bonus. The quality control, because it is impossible to evaluate all the calls and messages. :) People: it was a very multicultural environment, people from all over the world. Most of the people were nice to the others. Team building and social activities: During my year here we had a Boat party and a Talents night. Both were great experiences. Training: people who I had as trainers were very talented and passionate about their jobs.
Cons
Sometimes stressful: during high seasons, bad weather, strikes or cancellations. I cannot blame the company for this, but I think they can still improve the way they manage these situations. Some mentors are not that friendly or they do not even look at you when you talk to them. They sometimes tell you to tell the customer that something is not possible, but they do not tell you why or how to say it. If you are not a Dutch or French speaker, there are no too many options to grow or assume bigger responsibilities than being a mentor or a trainer. I cannot blame the company again, as this is due to the "nationalities" of Transavia.
