      Pros

      The company has become very forward thinking both in its view of how attractive the business it is to the customer while seemingly making the lives of its staff easier by streamlining it practices.

      Cons

      For me, as a member of staff working weekends only, I find training and development difficult to arrange and achieve.

      Pros

      You get to meet friends of all ages with different walks of life .Some just doing part time work but have had other careers in the past that pass on information in another job and want to work not have too. so a happier place when you like your job.

      Cons

      not shy of computers and do training on e learning every year to keep up with what you have learn't and they send you on courses to help you with your work.

      Pros

      Great work ethic amongst all colleages at the stores I've worked at, great bonus schemes and opt-ins available. Development is actively encouraged and there's opportunities beyond the normal retail roles. The recent changes of senior leadership seems to be delivering a consistent, joined-up message now.

      Cons

      Work/life balance can be thrown a little, especially with regards to weekend working patterns. This is especially evident in smaller format stores where the too-tight-for-comfort staff costs means holiday and sickness cover throws any semblance of pattern out the window.
