Pros

- Working closely with ARM engineers on an important project for the company. - Attending meetings with engineers - Attending Lunch & Learn sessions, Doughnut sessions and the Lightening Talks. The Doughnut session is destinated for ARM engineers,it consists of a in-depth presentation about embedded systems or computer architecture. The Lightening Talk was designed for interns and it aimed at presenting the work of different departments at ARM and the technologies being used.

Cons

The workload can be quite heavy at times.

Thanks for leaving a review! An internship at ARM means that you'll get hands on experience with your contributions that will be used and not just set aside for learning purposes. That can mean sometimes that the workload can be quite a lot as you mentioned, as there is a limited time for interns to get a full learning experience during their time at ARM. We hope you enjoyed your intern experience and hope to see you back for another internship next summer, or even in a graduate level role! -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager

Thanks for leaving a review! The good benefits you mention include very generous PTO, as well as a 4-week sabbatical after 4 years of service at ARM. That amount of time off is designed to provide employees with a good work life balance so they are rested and have sustainable energy to work throughout the day. If your work was starting to feel monotonous after a certain of time )and even now at your new job/company), I would highly encourage you to visit the internal careers portal for a new role at ARM as well as the Talent Development page on the company Intranet, to see how you can progress your career with additional skills. That said, we do wish you success in your career and who knows, maybe you'll come back to ARM one day! -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager
