I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Panda Restaurant Group (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2018
Interview
The interview process took about 1 week and a half, it was an initial phone screen and then an in person interview with 3 people. The in person interview took a bit longer to schedule. They get you to "study" before the in person interview on their company values and your professional goals, that they want you to share. The process is quite tedious however the interviews are not as atrocious as it seems. I didn't accept because it was a red flag for me, that they didn't mention in the job listing or in the initial phone interview that this position was only temporary, and couldn't give a time frame for this temporary position. For a company that says they value being humble, they sure don't seem to value good communication.....
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Panda Restaurant Group (Rosemead, CA)
Interview
Fascinating and very unique interview process - beyond that very long. Start to finish was about 3 months and included numerous conversations with multiple people within the organization. It started with a recruiter reaching out to me. After a few conversations I then had a conversation with the hiring manager. From there I traveled to Rosemead, California for a full day of interviews with the wider team. The Panda team is very warm, friendly and invested in understanding you as a whole person. Through their requirement (yes, encouraged - but really required) of Landmark Forum attendance they push to really get you to understand and tackle deep seated, deeply personal issues which can obviously be uncomfortable for some. Just know that and be sure to set your own boundaries. Also know you won't get anything in writing or confirmed until you go through with Landmark Forum training. Ultimately I decided the role and culture weren't a good fit for me. But could be for you!

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Panda Restaurant Group (New York, NY)
Interview
The hiring process just included typical questions about when you took leadership. Do smile alot and you more likely would bs given the spot . As of 2018 panda express wants to hire on the spot .
