I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Jersey City, NJ) in Jan 2015
Interview
It was relaxed and they made you fell comfortable talking about yourself. The also asked questions that related to my resume. I believe this was to determine if all the information was accurate or if it was stacked to look good. Overall the direction of the interview was to see how you'd fit into the company.
I got a call from a recruiter telling me that based on my resume I should apply for this position. After applying I received an email about a week later to schedule a phone interview which was pretty much a review of my resume and experience. A week later I get a call to schedule an in person interview (March 3rd 2015)
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Augusta, GA) in Dec 2013
Interview
Online application followed by phone screen and online assessment. Interview was very impersonal. Recruiter didn't seem to know much about the role and just asked canned questions. Basically, the interview is a resume walkthrough, general interest, and some questions about work behaviors. Nothing too difficult. Just not very engaging. Required formal application before on site interview.
