Pros

- amazing co-workers and a great community of people - when with the right team, you are given the fantastic opportunity to really show off your strengths and do well

Cons

- failing communication between staff and leadership, feedback from managers seems to conflict with what you are being told from people who work with you every day The male-to-female ratio in sales, specifically on the commercial side, is not excellent. Though I do not think this is intentional, most of the women who are at the sales meetings tend to be marketing for sales support, from what I could tell. There is no actual path for growth within the roles; most people end up just swapping teams rather than getting any real promotion. -KPIs are BS in non-sales roles; you could be doing more than what is being asked of you, meeting and exceeding your goals, and still be told you are not working hard enough - again, this depends on the manager and leadership you are under.

Pros

- Great company culture - Hybrid work environment & flexible scheduling - Ownership of working with clients - Job security...unless you don't preform, you pretty much will never be laid off or fired

Cons

- Your experience is not uniform within the company, heavily depends on which product team you are working for and the manager you are working for... while it can be great, it can be challenging - Not a lot of growth opportunities. Growth is very slow and linear. Yardi is privately held with little to no investment so it does not answer to investors. While it is a growing company every year, the growth does not justify a lot of chances for leveling up in the company - You work in a silo... especially in a hybrid work environment, as a TAM, you will almost never interact much with people outside of the product/suite of products you are working on... it's very hard to feel connected to the overall company - Initial onboarding as a new hire was very difficult as there was not really any formal training. I sort of just had to be a self-starter and learn the product to a lot of my own trial and error. While this can be good for some, it is difficult to gain your own footing in the firm
