      Cons

      No chance of promotion or career progress Narcissistic management team that will break you Low wages definitely does not follow market No culture with the exception of micro management Expectation to work during your annual leave No sense of std work hours you must answer your phone at any time No HR in place -many issues swept under the carpet Management has their head in the sand on so many things. Do not work for Yardi Australia.

      Pros

      Very nice colleagues, overall nice environment.

      Cons

      Extremely mean management and no chances of career progress unless you hookup with some teamlead or get in the cool kids group. Feels like highschool, but instead of good grades you get a thank you card and a tap on the shoulder. They had 0 understanding for personal issues and had a very bad way of reviewing your activity. They set standards for issues that had nothing to do with employees abilities or willingness to work. The HR department constantly seemed to close an eye when dealing with this kind of complaints. Big lack of seriosity, but it's no surprise since none of the managers there have any kind of managing studies or skills. Low wage, low commitment. None of my colleagues worked there for more than 2 years, and the ones I learned what I have to do from, were employed 1 month before me.

      Teams are good. Bureaucracy isn’t

      Pros

      Solid, long term company with good SaaS products. Decent benefits. Team activities and parties are fun and demonstrate that mid-level managers care about their teams and culture. Lots of locations provide ability to move if desired.

      Cons

      You are a cog in the machine. Fit in your place and don’t rock the boat, and you’ll do well. Think outside of the box or suggest something new, and you’ll face a constant uphill struggle. Politics and nepotism is rampant. Public company reviews and awards (“best place to work” etc) are an echo chamber and do not reflect actual employee sentiment.
