Pros

Good benefits SB location is nice Not much else

Cons

You have to fight for fair wages if you’re a WOC Bad management Some verticals are much harder than others but there isn’t a major pay difference, take Aff and PHA versus Residential and Marketing Lastly and the worst part about Yardi is in the first year they push you to become salaried and promise you half days yet when you try to request half days which is supposed to be about the only perk you get bc they pay increase is very little, they don’t allow you to. What is the benefit of working more than 40+ if you can’t even get 4 hours off in exchange?

It sounds like you are frustrated, and we are sorry to hear that your experience doesn’t reflect what we normally hear from employees. Promotions and pay raises happen consistently throughout the company and are closely monitored. As with most strong companies, salary increases and promotions are based on performance metrics. We offer competitive time off (PTO/Vacation), Sick Time, Paid Holidays, and Floating Holidays throughout the year and encourage our employees to take time off as needed to ensure work-life balance. Please consider scheduling time with your manager or our VP of HR to discuss your specific concerns.

Pros

Very friendly and helpful employees (not including management)

Cons

I was hired on at Yardi expecting to attend the full three week training program for the company, in hopes to eventually become a permanent, full-time employee. Almost immediately during the training course we collectively began to notice the instructor singling out certain trainees during the classroom training. After less than a week at the company (classroom training alone, as well as less than a day of being dropped into live calls that were monitored by the clients with only basic classroom note taking and minimal information), other trainees began disappearing one by one, starting with those who had consistently been singled out by the trainer (for reference, if you missed one day of the training course, no matter the reason, you would be automatically terminated). Only one week into training I was laid off out of the blue by phone call directly after the end of my shift. When I tried to contact Yardi to discover why I had been laid off, they refused to give a reason for my termination and I was informed that I was not allowed to make any contact with the company (not even to reach out in attempt to retrieve my things that were left in my office). I later discovered from a former coworker that each day more people mysteriously disappeared, until she herself was laid off without reason as well. The lack of basic professionalism that I experienced at Yardi was astounding; I would not recommend employment at Yardi to anyone.

Employees in the Call Center often start out as temporary employees from a Temp agency. By the nature of the employment relationship, the assignment may end at any time and for any reason. We appreciate all who express an interest in joining the company and wish you the very best of luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

Good pay if that’s what you’re looking for.

Cons

I was a former employee there for months and the one thing that sticks out is the lack professionalism at this place. You’ve got team leads having face time conversations on there cellphones on the floor all day. Employees screaming and laughing super loud all the way across the floor, disturbing others on calls. Cursing and shouting on the work floor all day! This is happening right in front of the team leads AND management! And what do either of them do?? Nothing! People avoiding calls all day long. What do they do? Nothing! Why? They don’t care, because you’re there to answer calls. So they don’t care how you act or what you say. As long as you answer calls and make them money they could care less. They refused to pay me the raise all the employees got until I pressed the issue with my temp agency. Found out I was suppose to of gotten the raise over a month ago. Somehow there was a glitch and I didn’t get the raise. Yeah right lol. So once I got it they had to pay me for all the time they said I got the raise but didn’t. A few weeks after that I was released. They hadn’t plan on hiring me and if I never would have stood up for my raise I’m sure they would have keep me there without the raise. Once again, professionalism and business ethics. Also the work schedule is horrible the way it’s setup. You never get adjusted and the good schedules are all taken. So many people remain stuck in a schedule they hate. Believe me I talk to many of them! I tried to refer some people to this place but after they all ask me my HONEST opinion of it I later found out that none of them applied via the temp agency I went through. So no I don’t recommend this place to anyone. This is my review based on months of working there. No professionalism at all at this place. Embarrassing. Team leads on face time calls all over this place and that not suppose to be allowed on the floor. Embarrassing.

Readers of Yardi’s Glassdoor will recognize that your experience at the Irving office is quite different from that of employees who have provided feedback. Yardi takes its mission of taking care of clients and employees seriously and we are sorry that you did not perceive this during your temporary stay with us. Best of luck to you in your future.
