      Low hourly wage for TechAM

      the people, stand up desk, holiday party

      Cons

      no career growth, Salary so low get ready to share a room in a high cost of living city of Santa Barbara, They require you to be there x amount of time in order for them to consider you for a promotion even if you are not learning anything new. Very repetitive after the initial training. Software release cycles are not fast enough. You become a therapist for the clients. No mental stimulation.

All of our salaries are benchmarked against national norms and salary is only one component of your overall compensation, along with a FSA plan, 401k, profit sharing, bonuses when deserved, and top-notch healthcare that we believe is beneficial to our employees.       Opportunities to advance technical skills.

      Cons

      Micromanaged to the exact minute. Reward for doiing a job well done is just more work to the point where it is not fun. Pay should be median of industry.

      Yardi Management Needs Improvement

      Pros

      Good health insurance, 401K plan Encouraged to work on different teams to learn more products.

      Cons

      Get rid of Team Leaders/ Managers who clearly can't manage people--Team Leaders who are "stressed out" or Team Leaders who continually tell their team they have led successful teams. Allow work from home and varied work schedules. Modern technology (GTM, GTA, HipChat) supports this environment. Unhealthy kitchens. Some people feel privileged to have other people clean their dishes. Bullies are allowed to flourish in a team environment.
